International banking group with a technology and operations hub in Portugal. The team works on a compliance-related referential application used to support regulatory processes within a large financial organization. The role involves ongoing development, maintenance, and quality improvement of this platform.
What you will do
- Design, develop, and implement front-end and back-end components of a compliance-related referential application.
- Write clean, testable code and conduct thorough testing to ensure application quality and performance.
- Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews, addressing technical debt as needed.
- Work across multiple projects simultaneously, sharing best practices among teams.
- Handle maintenance requests, prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing project needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize disruption to the application.
- Stay current with web development trends and technologies to continuously improve the application.
