Technology company providing software and IT services to the healthcare sector in Portugal. The role sits within a cloud governance function responsible for controlling and optimizing cloud spending across multiple product and engineering teams, aligned to group-wide FinOps standards.
What you will do
- Implement FinOps strategies, policies, and best practices to control cloud spending.
- Support budget, forecast, and cost optimization target-setting processes.
- Work across product, engineering, and architecture teams to identify cost optimizations without compromising service quality.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud costs and usage across multiple cloud platforms to improve cost visibility and transparency.
- Provide regular reports and insights on cloud spend, trends, and anomalies to stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of financial accountability through cross-functional communication.
- Implement tools and automation for cost tracking, reporting, and optimization.

- Cloud provider billing structures (AWS, Azure, GCP)
