Business Analyst (Investment Banking)
What is this challenge about: - Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, translating business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
- Gather, analyze, document, and refine business requirements to support project delivery.
- Produce detailed specifications and user stories for development teams.
- Own and support Scrum ceremonies and processes, ensuring efficient Agile delivery.
- Facilitate communication and alignment across business and technical teams.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support prioritization, backlog management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What we are looking for: - Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst (BA);
- Solid experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including ownership or coordination of Scrum-related activities;
- Strong ability to translate business needs into functional requirements and technical documentation/specifications;
- Experience within the Investment Banking domain;
- Good knowledge of Financial Markets, including products such as swaps, options, equities, stock market instruments, and related financial products;
- Working knowledge of SQL (advanced level not required);
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
- Living in Porto (hybrid role);
- Portuguese language skills are considered a plus;
- Fluent level of English.
