We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to work in Lisbon who is eager to embark on an exciting new opportunity!

What is this challenge about

Development, maintenance, and support of AI-driven solutions using Natural Language Processing (NLP), statistical methods, and supervised/unsupervised learning algorithms;
Contribution to improving search efficiency, content creation, customer experience, and data-driven product innovation;
Design and implementation of machine learning applications and products in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams;
Iterative model training, evaluation experiments, and statistical analysis of results;
Identification of suitable datasets and execution of data annotation processes for machine learning tasks;
Continuous research and adoption of cutting-edge AI technologies, methodologies, and academic advancements;
Translation of technical concepts into clear insights for diverse stakeholders.

What we are looking for

At least 4+ years of experience as Software Engineer with hands-on or exposure to AI;
Fluency in English
Academic background in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or a related field;
Experience with Scala or Python;
Advanced experience with Elasticsearch;
Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases;
Solid understanding of AI techniques such as NLP, classification, clustering, optimization, and deep neural networks, including their real-world applications and limitations;
Proficiency in Python (object-oriented) is a plus;
Experience with Docker and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS);
Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) is a plus;
