We are looking for a AI Engineer to work in Lisbon who is eager to embark on an exciting new opportunity!

What is this challenge about

Building a next-generation local discovery search engine: conversational, curated, real-time, and powered by local communities;
Developing product features end-to-end, from idea to production;
Working closely with the founder on product vision, engineering decisions, and technical direction;
Translating user needs into simple, effective, and well-executed solutions;
Rapid prototyping, testing, and iterating based on real user feedback;
Shaping the foundations of both the product and engineering culture;
Leveraging AI tools to accelerate development and improve product quality;
Contributing to product thinking and strategy, not just implementation.

What we are looking for

At least 3+ years of experience as Software Engineer with hands-on or exposure to AI;
Fluency in English;
Experience with Python, Flutter and React;
Knowledge of AI tools such as Claude Code and Codex;
Comfortable working in early-stage startup environments with high ownership;
Passion for AI-assisted development and belief in AI-driven coding workflows;
Ability to move fast, experiment, and iterate effectively;
