On the 15th of August 2021 the Taliban took over Afghanistan, after almost 20 years of U.S.A. presence. Thousands of women tried to escape the country to avoid living under the restrictive and ruthless policies imposed by the Taliban.

Many are still trying.

This is the story of how KWAN helped one woman get her life back.
