We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Node.js) to work in Lisbon, Coimbra or Braga who's eager to embark on an exciting new opportunity!

What is this challenge about:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software to solve complex product and business challenges;
  • Deliver high-quality production code and maintain unit and integration tests;
  • Provide code reviews and collaborate with team members to ensure best practices;
  • Integrate software with monitoring and support tools;
  • Participate in Agile planning, delivery, and retrospectives.
  • 5+ years of software development experience;
  • 3+ years of experience with Node.js;
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript;
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures;
  • Experience with frameworks like Express, NestJS, or Fastify;
  • Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS);
  • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases;
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS/serverless);
  • Experience with React or Next.js; (Plus)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines; (Plus)
  • Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools; (Plus)
